Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson
S Victor Whitmill, the tattoo artist who tattoo-ed Mike Tyson's face, is seeking an injunction to stop The Hangover: Part IIbeing released. He is suing Warner Bros over the tattoo design that appears on actorEd Helms' character’s face in the film – a design that resembles that he made for the former boxer. He has called it "one of the most distinctive tattoos in the nation".

The film is set to come out next month. Whitmill has filed a complaint in Missouri, in which it is outlined: "When Mr Whitmill created the original tattoo, Mr Tyson agreed that Mr Whitmill would own the artwork and thus, the copyright in the original tattoo… unauthorised exploitation of the original tattoo constitutes copyright infringement."

Warners refused to comment on the suit.

The Hangover: Part II stars Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis as well as Helm and has been directed by Todd Phillips.
