Nearly a year after his death Gary Colemanapparently still hasn't been buried.
Vic Perillo, Coleman's former manager, revealed in an essay obtained by WENN.com that Coleman's body is yet to have been put to rest. Apparently, the legal battle between his parents and his estranged wife have put burial plans on hold.
Perillo's essay apparently also encouraged various networks to pay tribute to the late actor, though he seems to have gotten little response.

“On this, the first anniversary of his death, I have contacted the three major (U.S. TV) networks, asking them to honor Gary, his eight years on Diff’rent Strokes, his seven movies of the week, his work as a spokesman with the National Kidney foundation and the many charitable endeavours he gave of his time and effort to," Perillo wrote according to WENN.com.
Coleman died in late May 2010, after suffering an intercranial hemorrhage. He had been in ill health for some time as he suffered from kidney disease which stunted his growth.
The "Diff'rent Strokes" actor died at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. He was 42.

Alicia Silverstone

Alicia Silverstonehad her first baby and her first Mother's Day all in one weekend.
The Clueless one gave birth to a boy on Thursday at a Los Angeles-area birthing center, per People. The 7-pound, 15-ounce tyke is the first child for Silverstone, 34, and rocker hubby Christopher Jarecki.

"Mom and Dad are completely in love" with their "beautiful baby boy," Silverstone's rep said in a statement..
The actress revealed she had a bun in the oven back in January, and said she's always wanted a baby of her own.
"I've been wanting to have a baby since I was 2 years old—I'm destined to be a mother," she said last year.

The 34-year-old and Jarecki, frontman for the punk group S.T.U.N., married in Lake Tahoe in 2005. They've been together since 1997.
Silverstone's been busy plugging her New York Times bestselling vegan nutrition guide, The Kind Diet, and prepping for the baby. She's also had some practice with her parenting skills playing an adoptive mother in the soon to be released indie flick Butter, opposite Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman.

Bethenny Ever After

The season two finale of Bethenny Ever After began by showcasing Bethenny’s Skinny Girl Speaking Engagement Tour, in which she coordinated a question and answer segment at each stop. Her tour was very personal and very much made for audience participation. She wasn’t kidding when she mentioned in a previous episode that she wanted to really open up the dialogue between her and her fans. The tour was not just about Skinny Girl but empowerment via her NY Times Best Selling book, “A Place of Yes.” She is clearly very passionate about inspiring those around her to live the best life that they can live. Even with Jason’s parents meeting up with them at the Philadelphia stop, Bethenny was still frank in her advice to her fans questions. In fact, her honesty actually reinforced her love for her in laws. Not everyone can say that, so it was more than a pleasure to see that on the small screen, specifically reality television.
Bethenny wasn’t the only person getting frank tonight. Julie, the Coordinator of Chaos had a very open conversation with Jason in the front of the tour bus about being the top assistant to Bethenny while Bethenny was in the back of the bus singing her heart out to Bryn. The cutting back and forth in this scene made for one of the most hilarious moments of the night. It’s great to see Julie use her voice on the show outside of her answering to Bethenny. When confronted, she’s not afraid to share how she’s really feeling while being professional but also talking respectfully from one human being to another. What’s so great about the Frankel-Hoppy dynamic is that they are professional and treat their staff with respect. They are a tight knit group of people who genuinely care about each other. They have fun, they voice their opinion, and they work harder than they could have ever imagined. That’s great to see…because on other shows, only the latter is seen between a staff and the talent.

Getting down to the business, if you were not aware of every major liquor company in the business wanting to get their hands on Skinny Girl, Bethenny was not shy about reminding the viewers of the potential deal every few minutes. If you had a Skinny Margarita in your possession throughout the broadcast, you could have played a drinking game based on the number of times Bethenny brought up her Skinny Girl deal. Whether she was talking about being rejected by the companies who then started making offers or caring about the money, Bethenny had a huge decision to make and it was not taken lightly in the editing room.
The finale would not have been complete without a visit to Dr. Amador in which she discussed the deal. But that wasn’t even the full circle moment. Flashbacks showing the growth of Skinny Girl, was the moment, the tearjerker moment, the “I can’t believe I’m finally here” moment. Some flashbacks included cast members fromThe Real Housewives of New Yorkwhich was a fun part of the reminiscing, but actually seeing the stages of Bethenny’s dream come into fruition was much more significant here. This was inspiration enough for us viewers to get up, go out, and make something of our dreams. As Bethenny said, there has been a lot of growing and a lot of changes. It hasn’t been easy balancing her priorities but all of the work put into every aspect was so worth it. In the words of Jason’s father, “That was awesome!”

Paula Abdul

Paula Abdul may have been ousted from American Idol but that doesn’t mean she won’t be judge on one of America’s most successful reality TV shows.
The X-Factor is coming to the USA and Paula Abdul has officially signed on as one of the judges. She and her former co-judge Simon Cowell (who had a love/hate relationship on the set of Idol) will be reuniting to critique some of America’s most talented individuals and fans are thrilled about the decision.
It was just announced this weekend that Paula and Simon would be reuniting, along with Simon’s British X-Factor co-host Cheryl Cole. Nicole Sherzinger and Steve Jones have signed on as hosts.
Cowell and Abdul reunited in person for the first auditions where Paula seemed very enthusiastic about their relationship.
“I’d describe it as delightful, and exhilarating and fun and I miss him,” she says adding “you should check with me in a week or two to see if that still holds true for both of us.”

This is so exciting!

Kelly Brook

Kelly Brook has been left ‘devastated’ after losing the baby girl she was expecting with her boyfriend Thom Evans.
The striking model, 31, who was nearly five months pregnant, was rushed to hospital at the end of last week, but tragically suffered a miscarriage.
Miss Brook had announced she was pregnant after just three months of dating former rugby union international Evans.
This evening, Miss Brook was resting at her farmhouse in Kent and a spokesman for the star told the Daily Mail: ‘I can confirm that Kelly and Thom have very sadly lost their baby.
‘They request that everyone please respects their privacy at this very painful time.
‘There will be no further comment.’
A friend said: ‘Kelly is understandably devastated, she’s at home and she’s being looked after by Thom and her mum Sandra.
‘There’s nothing you can say to anyone at a time like this – she just needs to be allowed some time alone to grieve.’
Celebrities were quick to offer their condolences to the couple, with Denise Van Outen writing on Twitter: 'OMG.. That's awful news. I'm so sad for them x'
Dannii Minogue wrote: 'Sending big love to Kelly Brook and Thomas Evans.'
And Michelle Heaton added: 'Just awful news about Kelly brook.. It's happening far too frequently these days, I can't even imagine the hurt.'
While Miss Brook admitted that the pregnancy was not planned, she said she was ecstatic at the turn of events - and claimed to have found 'The One'  in Evans, a 26-year-old Scotsman.
She said: ‘That is what happens when you are in love - you surrender to whatever is to be. It wasn't a plan, but if it happened, it happened. We were boyfriend and girlfriend.'
The couple were seen strolling hand in hand in the London sunshine last week, with Miss Brook’s bump on display in a floral frock, and she added that despite her frequent trips to Los Angeles for work, Evans had been by her side.
She said they had been inseparable since they met last November at her birthday party as she gushed: ‘We have spent virtually every day together ever since.
'There was no game-playing, which is why I think our relationship progressed so quickly, because we haven't had to deal with egos.
'I love Thom and Thom loves me. We love being together. It is as simple as that.'
Miss Brook had excitedly announced the news of her pregnancy on Twitter last month, revealing: 'Thom and I are happy to announce we are expecting a baby girl. We are delighted XXXX.’
She had then been bombarded by offers of work and was signed up to design a maternity range for New Look.
Miss Brook is the latest in a string of celebrities to have suffered miscarriages, including Amanda Holden and Lily Allen.
Former Scotland international star Evans is a former teammate of Miss Brook’s ex Danny Cipriani.
Evans played for the London Wasps with Cipriani from 2004 to 2006.
However, the Zimbabwe-born sports hunk was forced to quit his career as a professional rugby player after he suffered a horrific spinal injury.
He is now hoping to become an action movie actor.
Evans, formerly known as the 'pin-up of Scottish rugby'  was almost paralysed when he collided with Welsh player Lee Byrne during a rugby union match in February 2010.
Despite a series of operations, he was forced to accept that he would never regain match fitness and retired from the game the following July.
He has since been taking acting classes in Los Angeles.
Evans’ brother Max still plays for the Scottish national team and the brothers are cousins of Radio Two DJ Chris Evans.
The DJ revealed live on air how he and his family had been keeping the pregnancy a secret for some time.
Miss Brook split from Cipriani in June last year after two years together. He now lives in Australia playing for the Melbourne Rebels.
She was spotted out on a couple of dates with Glee star Matthew Morrison over the summer, but nothing came of the flirtation and Evans has been her first relationship following her split with Cipriani.
The couple remained friends and Cipriani said: ‘Kelly told me in January that she was expecting. I’m really happy for her - she will be a great mum.’
During a recent interview and revealing picture shoot with Esquire magazine, Miss Brook, who was left grief-stricken by the death of her father Kenneth Parsons following a battle with cancer in 2007, referred to her ex-boyfriends, including Jason Statham, Billy Zane and Danny Cipriani, as ‘big kids’ and ‘show- offs’.
While posing provocatively in skimpy swimwear for Esquire Magazine, she said they all ‘needed to be the centre of attention’.
Speaking of Evans, she said: ‘He doesn’t need to be the centre of attention. The previous guys have been big kids really. Show-offs.’
And in a further dig to her former actor lovers Statham and Zane, she said of Thom: ‘He’s not an actor, so I don’t have to sit and watch all of his sh*t films.’
Kelly dated Jason Statham for seven years until 2004, before dating Billy Zane from 2004 to 2008 and then moved on to Danny Cipriani from 2008 until 2010.
While Miss Brook’s film career might not be as successful as Statham’s, the Piranha 3D actress made fun of herself by saying she’s made a career out of being a failure.

Marg Helgenberger

Justin Bieber has won plaudits for his remarkably grown-up attitude to super stardom.
But while the teenager has so far avoided any scandals, he has been revealed as a 'bit of a brat' by one of the lead star's of CSI.
'I shouldn’t be saying this but he was kind of a brat,' Marg Helgenberger said.
'He was very nice to me. But he locked one of the producers in a closet and he put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.'
Helgenberger, 52, plays CSI investigator Catherine Willows and has received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her role.
In the interview, with a French reporter from Europe1, she is seen rolling her eyes when asked if Bieber's role was just to boost ratings or if he was a talented actor.
Helgenberger visibly rolled her eyes when asked if his role was written to raise ratings, or because the singer is 'truly a good actor.'
'Justin Bieber wasn’t bad bad,' Helgenberger said. 'But he’d never acted before... He’s better than you’d think.'
Helgenberger's criticism is very different to the official line on Bieber.
‘He did a really good job,’ CSI's executive producer Carol Mendelsohn told USA Today  earlier this year.

Bieber, 17, played troubled teen Jason McCann in two episodes of the show, broadcast earlier this year.
The character was a member of an anti-government family whose foster dad was in jail and whose brother was out for revenge against the police.
The second episode ended with Bieber's character being gunned down in a stand-off with police.

Bieber said at the time that he was excited about the role.
'It was really cool because I actually - I get shot, like several times,' he said.
'I fall down and there's fake blood and everything. It's crazy how the whole process is.'

Chaz Bono

"I was forced on stage at age two," says Chaz Bono, only child of Sonny and Cher, of life with the pop stars' during their heyday in the 1970s. "I looked retarded."
Fast-forward 40 years. The little blonde girl who traded scripted barbs with her famous parents on their popular TV variety show is legally a man, and finally comfortable in his own skin.
"Before, the person in the mirror didn't reflect the person that I felt I was," Bono told Reuters in a telephone interview. "Now when I look in the mirror, what I see is really me."
Bono went public a few years ago with his female-to-male gender transition, and then several steps further by embarking on an intimate documentary chronicling the process, both at home and in the doctor's office.
"Becoming Chaz", which had its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, will be broadcast on Tuesday on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) cable TV channel. Bono has also written a book -- "Transition: The Story of How I Became a Man" -- which is published this week.
"I knew I was going to write the book. I never thought of a film, but it seemed a good way to me to share the story," Bono said.
The film, mostly shot during 2009-10, opens just before Bono's trip to San Francisco for breast removal surgery, accompanied by her lesbian girlfriend of five years, Jennie. (At this point Bono was still legally a woman).
During the course of filming, Jennie becomes increasingly uncomfortable, not so much with Chaz's changing appearance, but with the increasingly assertive behavior, emotional swings and increased sex drives brought on by hormone treatments. She moves into the guest room.
Also less than happy is Cher, the pop diva and gay icon, who candidly speaks in the film of her discomfort and admits that, for a time, she was terrified of even seeing Chaz. His father Sonny Bono died in a skiing accident in 1998.
The worst part, Cher confesses, was the voice change, and "knowing I'll never hear it (Chastity's) again."
They didn't see each other for the better part of a year, Bono said.
But he is empathetic to his mom's struggle, not just his own. "She was born in 1946. It's generational. Younger people just seem to deal with this better," he said.
And speaking to Cher's public image, Chaz said, "People don't look at her as a parent, but she's an actual person. Especially for a parent, even the most supportive parent, this is a difficult adjustment."
Throughout the film, Cher repeatedly refers to Chaz as "she."
Mother and son recently have made a lot of progress, and now see each other as regularly as ever, Chaz said. "She's doing better with the pronouns for sure," he told Reuters.
Things are better with Jennie, too. "We've been doing great," he said. "We turned a corner starting around the end of the summer"
In the tradition of a true Hollywood ending, the film concludes at the premiere of Cher's 2010 film, "Burlesque," where Bono and his mother have a brief rapprochement.

Since filming ended, Bono has continued with hormone treatments and opted for removing his ovaries. That was a personal and health decision owing to gynecological issues, and which not every female-to-male transgendered person opts for.
He has not pursued genital surgery because he believes the technique is still too nascent.
"Ten years ago to me this (decision to change sex) seemed the most radical thing," he said, thinking someone would have to be miserable and desperate to even consider it.
"But I didn't realize how difficult my life was -- until I had something to compare it to."

Steve Jones

The 34-year-old Welsh model turned TV presenter is set to cohost Simon Cowell's X Factor with Pussycat DollNicole Scherzinger when it comes Stateside this fall, but just who is this hot bloke? Us Weekly reveals five need-to-know details.
1. He's already got plenty of celebrity support. After word of Jones' appointment leaked online, CNN host Piers Morganwas quick to applaud his pal. "Congrats to Steve Jones on landing the US X Factor co-hosting gig," MorganTweeted. "Great guy, really pleased for him."
2. While Jones is a virtual unknown to American audiences, he brings a wealth of experience with him Stateside. Making his debut on TV's BBC One in 2009 hosting Let's Dance for Comic Relief, Jones went on to present the quizshow As Seen on TV. He's also a seasoned actor, having appeared in small roles in Angus,Thongs and Perfect Snogging and Plus One.
3. Forget hours of time in the makeup chair! Jones is totally low-maintenance when it comes to grooming. "I cant be bothered! It takes too much time," Jones told FHM.com of his beauty routine. "I want to be able to enjoy myself with my friends not be in the bathroom for 2 hours."
4. Jones has a way with A-list ladies. The handsome host was once romantically linked with Halle Berry,Pamela Andersonand Hayden Panettiere! But don't expect to see his former paramours pop up at tapings of the Fox series. "It sounds ruthless, but I'm not into the 'let's be friends' thing. To me, ex is ex. John Travolta called her the "most delicious" thing to come out of Italy, Roberto Benigni serenaded her with the Neapolitan song "O Sole Mio" and Billy Crystal said she was his "first great love."

Hollywood came out on Wednesday to honor Sophia Loren, 50 years after she become the first person to win an acting Oscar for a foreign-language role with the Italian movie "Two Women."

Loren, now 76 and with her famous hour-glass figure intact, did not attend that 1961 Academy Award ceremony. She told an audience of some 800 actors, directors, friends and family on Wednesday she never dreamed an Italian in an Italian-language film would earn the movie industry's highest honor.

"The Academy Award changed my life completely," she said at the tribute organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. "It helped me to believe in myself and encouraged me to push my own artistic boundaries."

"There are no words to describe my emotions right now. It is hard to imagine that 50 years have passed since I welcomed my Oscar to my home," she added.

Regarded as the most famous living Italian actress with more than 80 movies, Loren received a lifetime achievement Oscar in 1991 and was declared "one of world cinema's greatest treasures."

On Wednesday, she was feted with tributes and clips of the most famous roles from her 1950s to 1970s heyday, including "Marriage Italian Style," "A Special Day," "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" and Hollywood films "El Cid" and "Man of La Mancha."

With most of her co-stars and directors long dead -- Marcello Mastroianni, Gregory Peck, Frank Sinatra, Charlton Heston, Cary Grant, Marlon Brando and her producer husband Carlo Ponti -- the speeches were left to a younger generation.

Rob Marshall, who directed Loren in her most recent feature film "Nine" in 2009, said working with her was "the most magic I will ever have."

Tom Hanks called her "timeless, beautiful and authentically real." Christian De Sica described the frequent pairing of Loren with his father, Italian director Vittorio De Sica, as "like a cappuccino -- no-one could tell the milk from the coffee."

Exuberant Italian actor and director Benigni, himself an Oscar winner for the 1997 movie "Life is Beautiful," sang to Loren in a video message and her son Edoardo Ponti fought back tears as he told her: "We are here because we love you and you deserve every single thing."

Asked by host and U.S. comedian Crystal whether she was happy with her career, Loren dabbed tears from her eyes.

"You are never content," she replied. "You always want to do more and find the right thing at the right time. I like my career, my life, so much. I was born for this. I am sick when I don't work for a year or two."

Jesse James

Although he has been trying to make a fresh start, Jesse James said his family has never been the same since his affair led to a nasty, public divorce from actress Sandra Bullock and cost him the baby the couple was in the process of adopting.
"I think, you know, a marriage ending, all this crazy stuff ... that was like a lesson to work on myself and fix what's wrong with me," James told ABC News in an exclusive network interview. "So I don't transfer it and keep it going, like my parents did."
After closing up the business that made him famous, West Coast Choppers, in Long Beach, the 42-year-old bought a home on 15 acres in the countryside near Austin, Texas, where Bullock also has a home. But he said he and Bullock don't speak to each other.
James said he had hoped that by moving to Austin, their youngest daughter Sunny, who was close with Bullock, would get to see the film star, and he would be able to have a relationship with Louie, the baby the couple was adopting. But this hasn't been the case. Bullock later adopted Louie as a single parent.
"I've never seen Louie since everything happened, so a year," he said, adding that Sunny had only seen Bullock "a couple of times," but that there has been "no contact at all for several months."

James said not seeing the son he thought he would have in his life has been painful for him, but he had to accept that he would no longer be in his life.
"I could only cry so much about [Louie] until I have to suck it up and keep a stiff upper lip and realize, Hey, [there are] three kids that I do have," James said. "I need to take care of them and not worry about the one that I don't, you know, and I think that's the lesson."
His new home was an escape "to get out of California," James said, and since he's no longer putting in 15-hour days at West Coast Chopper, he said he has been able to develop a new, better relationship with his three children, Chandler, Jesse Jr. and Sunny.
"I think I was just dad again," he said. "And like, eliminated all of the things that distracted me from being a dad. ... I think we're all connecting better. I think for the first time in their lives, they can depend on me to be there and I think the life here is better, you know, for the family."
That family also includes his first wife, Karla, who lives in a guest house on the property.
Once known as the star of Discovery Channel's "Monster Garage" and the king of motorcycles, James became infamous as the husband who cheated on "America's Sweetheart."
Stalked incessantly by paparazzi at his home in Long Beach last year, James entered a 30-day stint at the Sierra Tucson treatment center in Arizona where he said he dealt with childhood and anger management issues. He talked about those issues and more in his new memoir, "American Outlaw," out in stores now.
"I think, you know, a marriage ending, all this crazy stuff ... that was like a lesson to work on myself and fix what's wrong with me," James said. "So I don't transfer it and keep it going, like my parents did."
James sat down for an exclusive interview with "Nightline" shortly after his release from rehab in May 2010 to talk about why he threw away what seemed like the perfect life.
"I don't know," he said at the time. "I knew it was horrible. It made me feel horrible. [I] think I wanted to get caught, I mean I was trying to self-sabotage my life."
Now, a year later, James' focus has turned more inward as he ponders what's next professionally, and prepares for his soon-to-be fourth marriage to Kat Von D.
The star of TLC's reality series, "L.A. Ink," she and James have been friends for years, but it wasn't romance until she texted him after his breakup with Bullock and took him to dinner to cheer him up. Now, he says, the couple plans to marry this summer.
Because of his turbulent childhood, James says in the past he's had trust issues. But with Kat von D he said, "She's like 100 percent the first woman that I've ever trusted ... 100 percent, I've met my match with her."

Jesse James on Sandra Bullock: 'I Can't Worry About Her Anymore'

When asked if he thought that jumping into another marriage so soon would be hurtful to Bullock, James said though it has been painful, he realized he has to move on.
"I can't worry about her anymore," James said. "I think I've spent a good chunk of the last five or six years worrying only about her, and what she thinks, and what I should do ... controlling all my movements and everything else ... I think it's time to worry about Jesse and making sure Jesse's happy."
After such a tabloid-filled year, James' life seems simpler. Though he shuttered West Coast Choppers, he's still co-owner of the Austin Speed Shop, restoring vintage cars and mentoring new mechanics. The full-time dad also spends his days practicing his blacksmithing, a skill he went to Israel to learn, but he's taking his time deciding what his next professional venture will be.

"I like to make stuff and hand it to the person and then they pay me," he said. "When everything was big and Wal-Mart deals and licensing and all this craziness, it just took me away from what I was supposed to be doing."
He continued, "I don't need billions of dollars and I don't need licensing deals. All I need is my welding helmet, a box full of welding rods, and something to make and I'm in heaven."
In his memoir -- and in person -- James seems somber and more at peace, ready to move on and put the past behind him.
"I need to come out of the shadows and regain what I do best," he said. "Just because I cheated on my wife and got busted for it, and it became a whole media s--tstorm, it doesn't mean that I'm not valuable. I'm sorry it happened. I'm sorry it went down the way it did, but I forgive myself and now I can move on."

Kendra Wilkinson

Kendra Wilkinson may have been forced to bid adieu to Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday, but at least she looked gorgeous doing it.

"This is the one time I feel like Barbie and act like Barbie," the reality mom, 25, told reporters backstage right after her ballroom farewell. "I'm going to miss the glamorous life – the best hair and makeup, the best costumes, the best partner."

"You can't get more glamorous than you are on Dancing with the Stars," she said. "I don't think I will ever [be this glamorous] the rest of my life."

Wilkinson's partner Louis van Amstel agrees that the formerGirls Next Door star looked great strutting her stuff over the last seven weeks, but he says her beauty is more than skin deep.

"She went from being a pretty girl on the outside to being a woman on the inside who is just happy with who she is," the ballroom pro told PEOPLE. "It's so much more than dancing."

Van Amstel isn't the only one who commends his partner's progress on the show.

"I give her props," Wilkinson's hubby Hank Baskett, 28, told PEOPLE. "I told her that the best thing about it is she showed the world how incredible of a woman she is. Last night was my favorite ballroom dance thus far. She looked like Barbie last night. It was amazing. She'll take this with her for life. I'm just very proud of what she's done."

Glitz and glamour aside, Wilkinson says she's actually "very happy" with how her run on the show ended, and she looks forward to spending more time with her "backbone" Baskett and their little son Hank.

Shania Twain is "tired of suppressing [herself]" when it comes to talking about the unraveling of her marriage and betrayal at the hands of her best friend. In the June issue of REDBOOK, Twain, 45, candidly speaks about the breakup of her 14-year-marriage to music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange after his affair with her close friend Marie-Anne Thiébaud
"I felt that the sooner I could relax about my secrets, the sooner I'd find the relief that comes with release," she explains. "Nothing like getting it out there in the sunshine and fresh air."
So just what did it feel like when she found out about her former best friend and ex-husband's affair? "It was like I was kicked off my own bus while it was moving full speed ahead, and I landed in the dirt and everything I had was thrown out after me. And after tumbling and getting a mouthful of dirty, I had to try to stand up, then figure out where I was and start walking."

The five-time Grammy winner was unable to sing in front of people after the affair because of a condition called dysphonia. "It's a constriction that's both psychological and emotional, and it literally does choke the muscles around the voice box."
"When my marriage broke down, I got so physically constricted that I couldn't get any volume out at all," she recalls. "I couldn't even call for my dog. I realize I couldn't live without singing and had to do something about it. This is why I was like, 'Just get it all out right now. Clean the pipes.'"

Twain's now-husband, Frederic Thiébaud, understood exactly how she was feeling. It was Thiébaud's ex-wife who had an extramarital affair with Twain's ex. "I got to observe Fred going through the same that I was, and I admired how he handled it," she explains. "That is where I fell in love with him, because he was so exemplary in every way."

"Jessie's Girl" singer Rick Springfield was arrested Sunday night by Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies on suspicion of drunken driving.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department says in a press release that Springfield was stopped around 8 p.m. after a deputy spotted him speeding in his 1963 Corvette on Pacific Coast Highway.

According to the Los Angeles Times, officers smelled alcohol on Springfield's breath and administered a breathalyzer test. The department says Springfield's blood-alcohol content was .10 percent. The legal limit in California is .08.

The singer was released Monday around 2 a.m. on a $5000 bond, according to the paper. Springfield is due in a courtroom in Malibu for a first appearance on July 5.

TV On The Radio bassist Gerard Smith has passed away from lung cancer at the age of 36. He was diagnosed with the disease after the band finished recording its new album, Nine Types of Light, and they disclosed the news to fans about five weeks ago when they announced that Smith would not be able to tour with them because he was receiving treatment. He originally joined TV On The Radio before they began recording their last album, 2008's Dear Science. "We are very sad to announce the death of our beloved friend and bandmate, Gerard Smith, following a courageous fight against lung cancer," reads a message posted on the group's website "Gerard passed away the morning of April 20th, 2011. We will miss him terribly." The band cancelled all concerts between April 20 and 26 as a result of his passing.

Beyoncé dropped the official version of her new single, "Run the World (Girls)," on Thursday morning via iTunes, and it also was sent to radio. The girl-power anthem is a cleaned up version of the demo that leaked online earlier in the week. The new track was produced by Switch, Beyoncé and Shea Taylor, and Beyoncé also co-wrote the song with The-Dream. There is still no word on when the video might debut, but director Francis Lawrence has promised that it will be epic. "It'll be big, it'll probably be one of the bigger Beyoncé music videos ever done," he told MTV News. "And I can say that I think the song is unbelievable."
Dave Matthews Band has announced two more of their Caravan festivals. The show will come to New York City's Governors Island on August 26, 27 and 28 and The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA on September 2, 3 and 4. The events will feature a diverse lineup of musical acts performing on multiple stages during the day and a full set by headliners Dave Matthews Band each night. The lineup for the Governors Island event will include Dispatch, The Roots, Gogol Bordello, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones and many more to be announced. The lineup for The Gorge event will include Dispatch, The Roots, John Butler Trio, Gogol Bordello, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zerosand more.
Nikki Sixx's new book, This Is Gonna Hurt: Photography and Life Through The Distorted Lens Of Nikki Sixx, has debuted at #4 on the New York TimesBest Sellers list. The book is part journal, part memoir, and part social commentary and features his original photography. The new Sixx: AM album, This Is Gonna Hurt, is a companion to the book and will be out May 3.

The Kanye West Foundation, which was founded by his mother Donda West and was intended to prevent teens from dropping out of high school, has closed its doors after four years in operation. The news was made public by former executive director Joseph Collins, who sent an e-mail to associates stating that he was out of a job. "I am reaching out to let you know that the Kanye West Foundation has officially closed it doors after a successful 4+ years of programming and events," he wrote, according to AOL's PopEater blog. "It has been an incredible experience working with Kanye and the board to realize his mother's vision and I am honored to have been given the opportunity to lead the Foundation." No reason for the closure has been given, but the 2007 death of Donda West may have contributed to the program's ending.
Biffy Clyro took part in Spin's "Liner Notes" series this week, alongside author Mark Z. Danielewski. The Liner Notes events pair musicians and authors in live performances. Biffy Clyro's latest album, Only Revolutions, took its name from Danielewski's 2006 book of the same name. Actor-turned-director Michael Rapaport has spoken to Rolling Stone about all the drama and controversy surrounding his documentary film Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest. At first rapper Q-Tip said he did not support the film, and then most of the group did not attend its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival. In March, Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammadand Jarobi went on MTV to give their side of the story, saying that they didn't get creative control over the movie and they were being deprived of producing credits. "Let me say this," Rapaport toldRolling Stone. "They don't have final cut. I don't think in a documentary as intimate as this – as emotional, as personal as it is – that the people it's about should have a say. It's hard for them to have perspective." Meanwhile, the movie premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 27, and Rapaport hopes he can gain the band's support. "Q-Tip, Ali, and Jarobi have yet to see the final cut, or to see the film with an audience. It's only been on a computer screen, and that's no way to watch a movie," he said. "I'm sure once they see it in its entirety, they'll realize it's a positive depiction of the group. It's my love letter to them. And I hope we get past all this."
